JAKARTA - PT Multi Nice Paper Indonesia (MNPI), a nappy manufacturer, is targeted to contribute IDR 146 billion or 43.84% of PT Multi Media Internasional Tbk's (MMIX) projected sales of IDR 333 billion by 2025. MNPI is a joint venture between MMIX and Fujian Nicepaper Hygiene Products Co (FNHP).

Mengky Mangarek, President Director of MMIX, said that MNPI will be a subsidiary entity that supports the company's business development. ‘MNPI will make a positive contribution by adding new products, namely nappies, complementing the company's existing products,’ he said in an information disclosure quoted on Friday (17/1).

MNPI's nappy factory is planned to be located in Tangerang, Banten. Currently, the project location is in the process of obtaining a permit from the Ministry of Industry. The production capacity of the factory is planned to be 72,000 nappies per day. Mass production will begin in the beginning of the second semester of 2025.

MNPI listed the company's issued and paid-up capital at IDR31 billion, with the composition of shareholders FNHP 85% and MMIX 15%. ‘The company wants to review MNPI's performance in the future. However, the company will control operations according to the collective agreement,’ he said. (LK/LM)
