Unveil the successor of Oei Tjie Goan as TKIM’s controller
JAKARTA - Jackson Wijaya Limantara has received gift of controlling shares of PT Pabrik Kertas Tjiwi Kimia Tbk (TKIM) from Teguh Ganda Wijaya, last week (13/1). Wijaya is well known among top business actors under the name Oei Tjie Goan.
In the information disclosure quoted Tuesday (21/1), Agustian R. Partawidjaja, Director of TKIM, revealed that the number of TKIM’s controlling shares involved in this transaction reaches 1.86 billion. “The stock gift is related to leadership succession,” he confirmed.
Limantara is known as Wijaya’s son. After this transaction took effect, Limantara now claims control over 59.67% of TKIM. His ownership is categorised as indirect ownership through the Ultimate Controlling Shareholders of TKIM, which are Scottsdale Holding Limited, Austin Premium Group Ltd, Capital Holding Strategic Limited.
As of December 2024, TKIM’s shareholders consisted of PT APP Purinusa 59.67%, PT Arara Abadi 0.287%, and the public of 40,32%. Total shareholders stood at 16,380, with the listed ultimate beneficial owner of the shares being Oei Tjie Goan.
For the record, Limantara graduated from University of Michigan, USA. He also took office as Member of Executive Board for Asia at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsyvania. (LK/ZH)
