JAKARTA – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) distributed loans amounting to IDR 922 trillion throughout 2024, a 13.8% increase from 2023. This growth in financing was accompanied by a non-performing loan (NPL) ratio of 1.8%.

Jahja Setiaatmadja, President Director of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA), stated that the company was able to deliver positive performance in 2024 thanks to customer trust and government support.

"We observed that the domestic economy was able to grow amid various challenges and changes in the global geopolitical landscape," he said in a press release on Friday (24/1).

As of December 2024, BBCA's loan distribution was supported by corporate loans totalling IDR 426.8 trillion, commercial loans IDR 137.9 trillion, SME loans IDR 123.8 trillion, and consumer loans IDR 223.7 trillion.

Meanwhile, operating income stood at IDR 107.4 trillion, derived from net interest income of IDR 82.3 trillion and total operating income of IDR 107.4 trillion. BBCA’s provision expenses were recorded at IDR 2 trillion, and net profit amounted to IDR 54.8 trillion. (LK/ZH)
