JAKARTA - On Wednesday, January 22, two PT MD Pictures Tbk (FILM) investors added more shares in this film production company, starting the list of changes in share ownership above 5% of the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

By purchasing 10.80 million FILM shares, PT Samuel Sekuritas Indonesia increased its ownership from 5.15% to 5.26%. Through the purchase of an additional 73,800 shares through PT Bank HSBC Indonesia, foreign investor Morgan Stanley And Co International Plc also raised its stake to 11.51%.

The controlling shareholder of PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA), PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala, then added 831,465 shares to this financial services company.

Then, through PT KB Valbury Sekuritas, PT Aims Indo Investama purchased 268 thousand shares of PT Artha Mahiya Investama Tbk (AIMS), a company in the lifestyle sector. This controlling stake percentage increased marginally to 77.18%.

The last share addition was when Bank of Singapore Limited acquired 1.27 million shares of DMMX from PT Digital Mediatama Maxima Tbk. This foreign investor now owns 5.73% of the DMMX shares.

The same investor did, however, also sell shares in another issuer, specifically around 1.9 million shares of PT Bank Amar Indonesia Tbk (AMAR), a digital banking company. The remaining shares accounted for 10.36% of the total. Citibank, N.A. facilitated both Bank of Singapore transactions.

Still from foreign investors, HSBC-Fund SVS A/C Chengdong Investment Corp-Self sold more than 13.21 million shares of mining holding company PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI). Additionally, 2.90 million shares of PT Samator Indo Gas Tbk (AGII), an industrial gas company, were sold by Matrix Company Limited.

Andreas Utomo then decreased his stake in sugar producer PT Aman Agrindo Tbk (GULA) by 6.87 million shares through PT MNC Sekuritas. Only about 17.49% of the shares are currently under his control.

PT Batavia Prosperindo Internasional Tbk, the controller of PT Malacca Trust Wuwungan Insurance Tbk (MTWI), finally released 2.16 million shares of this insurance company through PT Panin Sekuritas Tbk. The recorded percentage of the remaining shares is 87.19%. (KD)
