JAKARTA – Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) Erick Thohir stated that SOEs play a significant role as one of the main contributors to state revenue. This is evident from the increasing fiscal contributions through tax payments, Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP), and dividends each year.

“SOEs have a very large role and contribution to Indonesia’s development and economy. This can be seen from the growing dividend payments each year,” Thohir said during a meeting with Commission VI of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR-RI) on Thursday (23/1).

Throughout 2024, Non-Tax State Revenue from Separated State Assets (KND) managed by SOEs reached IDR 86.4 trillion, up 5.3% from the 2023 realization of IDR 82.1 trillion.

Erick Thohir emphasized that SOEs' contributions to Indonesia's fiscal health have increased annually. From 2020 to 2023, the total fiscal contribution of SOEs to the state reached IDR 1,940 trillion. (DK/ZH)
