JAKARTA - The realisation of the sale of shares from the buyback of PT Sekar Laut Tbk (SKLT) still reached 5.51 million shares as of December 31, 2024.

John Gozal, Director of SKLT, said that the company has pocketed IDR 1.16 billion from the sale of the buyback shares. The sale was made through PT BNI Sekuritas to public investors, with an average price of IDR 171 per share.

Thus, the total shares from the buyback that have been transferred by SKLT are 12.64 million shares. ‘The amount of funds obtained is IDR 4.58 billion,’ said Gozal, in an information disclosure on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on Sunday (27/1).

Meanwhile, the total shares from the SKLT buyback that have not been transferred are 678.1 million shares.

According to idnfinancials.com data, SKLT's share price at the close of trading on Friday (24/1) yesterday closed up 1.12% or 2 points to IDR 181 per share. However, since the beginning of this year, the company's share price has decreased by 9.50% or 19 points. (KR/LM)
