Bad debts on online loans reached IDR1.90 trillion
JAKARTA - The number of bad debts channeled through online loans or Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Lending has reached IDR 1.90 trillion as of 30 November 2024, according to data from the Financial Services Authority (OJK).
Individual customers accounted for the most bad debts, with a total value of IDR 1.30 trillion. Meanwhile, the value of bad debts for business entity customers was IDR 600.32 billion.
Total outstanding P2P lending loans as of November 2024 increased 27.32% year-on-year (yoy) to IDR 75.60 trillion.
Meanwhile, outstanding loans were recorded at IDR 63.86 trillion. Then outstanding loans under special mention up to 30 days amounted to IDR4.82 trillion, substandard loans within 30-60 days were recorded at IDR2.60 trillion, and doubtful loans 60-90 days IDR2.27 trillion. (KR/LM)
