IDX suspends BBRC shares and warrants again, what's going on?
JAKARTA - The shares of breadcrumbs producer PT Raja Roti Cemerlang Tbk (BRRC) and its series I warrants (BRRC-W) were officially suspended by the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on Thursday (30/1).
BBRC shares and warrants were suspended again due to the price dropping out of the ordinary. For information, this suspension applies in the Regular Market and Cash Market for BRRC shares, as well as in all markets for BBRC-W warrants.
‘As a form of protection for investors, the IDX considers it necessary to temporarily suspend the trading of shares and warrants of PT Raja Roti Cemerlang Tbk (BRRC) and BBRC-W,’ the management said in a written statement from the IDX.
BRRC shares were first listed on the stock exchange on 9 January 2025 with an initial offering price of IDR 210 per share. However, since its debut, the stock has plummeted 75.95% to IDR 63 per share, while the BBRC-W warrant has dropped 84.21% to IDR 6.
In the last trade, Friday (24/1), BRRC shares fell 12.50% and within a month had corrected 75.95%. Previously, this stock was also suspended on 9 January 2025. (DK/LM)
