GOTO tops net foreign buy, overtakes BIPI
JAKARTA - PT Goto Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) reached the top position in net foreign buy on Friday's stock trading close (31/1), displacing PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI), which led the chart the previous day (30/1).
According to data gathered by IDN Financials, GOTO recorded a net foreign buy of 407.89 million shares. Foreign buy and sell were recorded at 1.73 billion and 1.32 billion shares, respectively. The stock price of GOTO increased by IDR 1, closing at IDR 81 per share.
The stock's trading volume reached 2.57 billion shares across 21,765 transactions, amounting to IDR 210.82 billion. This was lower than the previous day's volume of 4.55 billion shares traded in 17,132 transactions, worth IDR 364.07 billion.
Meanwhile, BIPI recorded a net foreign buy of 132.6 million shares. Foreign buy and sell were registered at 150.12 million and 17.50 million shares, respectively. BIPI's share price increased by IDR 4, closing at IDR 91 per share.
BIPI's total traded shares amounted to 247.89 million across 2,984 transactions, worth IDR 22.48 billion. This volume was lower than the previous day, when 303.88 million shares were traded with a transaction value of IDR 26.36 billion across 1,075 trades. (LK/ZH)
