New controller on board, ENAK showed price surge this morning
JAKARTA – The share price of PT Champ Resto Indonesia Tbk (ENAK) strengthened during the early trading session this week, Monday (3/2). Late last week (31/1), Barokah Melayu Food Pte Ltd (BMF) officially became the new controller of the company.
Based on the stock exchange board observation on Monday morning (3/2), ENAK shares were seen at IDR 735 at 10:00 WIB. Earlier, the share price reached IDR 760 at 09:15 WIB, continuing to rise from IDR 725 at 09:00 WIB.
Positive sentiment towards the stock followed BMF's announcement last week (31/1) of its stake increase to 50.01% in ENAK. Last Thursday (30/1), the company’s shares closed lower by IDR 35, settling at IDR 640 per share.
BMF had conducted a mandatory tender offer of 165.5 million shares from mid-December 2023 to January 2024. The offering price was set at IDR 1,025 per share, totalling IDR 169.63 billion.
Previously, the shareholding structure of ENAK was as follows: Ali Gunawan Budiman held 16.60%, Barokah Melayu Foods 42.462%, PT Alba Cipta Rasa 15.713%, PT Cipta Rasa Juara 8.765%, and the public 16.454%. (LK/ZH)
