JAKARTA – Nickel ore production and sales of PT Centra Omega Resources Tbk (DKFT) skyrocketed in 2024 compared to 2023.

Feni Silvani Budiman, Director of DKFT, said that nickel ore production and sales both surged 130% and 105% in 2024.

“The achievement indicates the success of the company’s strategy in facing market challenges and leveraging existing opportunities,” said Budiman, quoted Tuesday (4/2).

In 2024, nickel ore production reached 2.95 million wet metric ton (WMT), up from 1.28 million WMT in 2023. Meanwhile, nickel ore sales soared to 2.59 million WMT from mere 1.26 million WMT in 2023.

Then, tin ore production at the end of Q4 2024 was reported at 1.20 million WMT, significantly increasing by 112% from 568,070 WMT in the same period in 2023. Nickel ore sales also reported 55% jump, from 548,637 WMT to 852,903 WMT.

According to Budiman, the company is optimistic that it will be able to maintain and improve its performance next year. (LK/ZH)
