JAKARTA – On Tuesday, February 4, foreign investors' stock purchases and sales on the Indonesia Stock Exchange were once more concluded with a net buy, this time at 667.66 million shares.

In addition, the amount of stock purchases and sales skyrocketed in comparison to the day before. Approximately 7.82 billion shares were sold and nearly 8.5 billion were purchased by foreign investors.

With 241.49 million shares, PT GOTO Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) remains the top net buy position as of right now. Foreigners purchased a total of 6.20 billion shares of this digital parent issuer, while 5.96 billion shares were sold.

In addition, PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) reported a net purchase of 186.23 million shares, with only 10.67 million remaining after 196.91 million of its shares were sold by foreign shareholders.

Mining contractor PT Darma Henwa Tbk (DEWA) followed with a net buy of 152.28 million shares. More than 314.28 million of its shares entered foreign hands today, while 162 million of its shares were sold.

PT Agro Bahari Nusantara Tbk (UDNG), a company engaged in shrimp farming, and PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA), a renewable energy company, then recorded a net buy in the range of 31-32 million shares.

Foreigners bought 32.87 million UDNG shares without buying a single share, while they bought 33.60 million OASA shares and sold around 2 million.

In the top sell row, PT Sinergi Inti Andalan Prima Tbk (INET) was at the top with a net sell of 63.42 million shares. This connectivity infrastructure issuer recorded foreign share sales of 111.79 million shares.

PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) and PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI), two major banks, subsequently disclosed net sell volumes of approximately 34–36 million shares. Roughly 38.43 million BBCA shares were purchased by foreign investors, but 74.74 million were sold. They also sold 84.85 million shares of BMRI and purchased 50.41 million shares.

The real estate developer PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk (LPKR) then announced a net sell of 22.61 million following the sale of about 27.85 million of its shares by foreigners. Lastly, 20.23 million shares of media parent issuer PT Visi Media Asia Tbk (VIVA) were released by foreigners without any acquisitions, resulting in a net sell of the same size. (KD)
