JAKARTA – Several shares of companies owned by Prajogo Pangestu were the largest contributors to the rise of the Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) during Tuesday’s (4/2) trading session.

At the close of trading yesterday, the IHSG ended in the green with a 0.62% gain, or 43.4 points, reaching 7,073.46. Previously, the index stood at 7,030.06 on Monday (3/2).

Shares of PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (TPIA) ranked first in the Top Leaders, the list of shares contributing the most index points. TPIA shares posted a 14% price increase, adding 23.99 index points.

Shares of PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) followed in second place, with a 5.65% price increase and an additional 18.31 index points. Next, shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) ranked third, with a 7.41% price increase, contributing 13.17 index points.

Another company owned by Prajogo Pangestu, PT Petrindo Kreasi Jaya Tbk (CUAN), also made it to the tenth spot in the Top Leaders list. This energy sector stock saw a 2.15% price increase, adding 1.25 index points.

According to IDN Financials, foreign investors remained dominant with selling actions in Tuesday's session. The net foreign sell value yesterday was recorded at IDR 190.47 billion, bringing the total net sell accumulation since the beginning of the year to IDR 4.17 trillion. (KR/ZH)
