JAKARTA – Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) dropped by 27.52 points at 10.34 AM WIB since the start of the trading session on Wednesday (5/2).

As of the morning observation, JCI fell to 7,046.06 points from 7,079 at 9 AM WIB. The index briefly strengthened before 10 AM but fluctuated back into negative territory.

Several other indices also experienced corrections. LQ45 index fell by 0.77% to 803.775, IDX30 dropped 1.10% to 416.880, IDX80 weakened by 0.51% to 116.309, and IDXESGL declined 1.57% to 148.808.

Some of the stocks that corrected in the early session included PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN), PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA), PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM), and PT Bayan Resources Tbk (BYAN).

Meanwhile, stocks that showed gains included PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (TPIA), PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT), PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA), and PT Alamtri Resources Indonesia Tbk (ADRO). (LK/KR/ZH)
