JAKARTA – Pemberton Asian Opportunities Fund has increased its stake in PT Sarimelati Kencana Tbk (PZZA) over the past three months.

Andromeda Hermawan Tristanto, Corporate Secretary of PZZA, confirmed that Pemberton Asian now holds 9.34% or equivalent to 282.10 million shares, up from 8.97% or 271.08 million shares previously.

"This acquisition is for investment purposes with direct ownership status," Andromeda said, as quoted on Wednesday (5/2).

The purchase of 11.02 million PZZA shares was made by Pemberton Asian at a price of IDR 159.9 per share on Tuesday (4/2). This is lower than the closing price of PZZA shares at IDR 162 per share.

The total value of the transaction is estimated at IDR 1.76 billion. According to IDN Financials data, Pemberton Asian has increased its shareholding in PZZA eight times since the beginning of 2025. Year-to-date, the price of PZZA shares has risen by 39.82% or 45 points. (LK/KR)
