JAKARTA – PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR) continues to reinforce its commitment to sustainability principles as an integral part of the company’s core business strategy.

Vandana Suri, Director of Unilever Indonesia, revealed that global trends show around 70% of consumers prefer products that focus on sustainability, with Unilever being recognized as a pioneer in this area.

With a long track record as a leader in this field, Unilever continues to innovate to meet the expectations of an increasingly environmentally and socially conscious market.

“Sustainability is not just a marketing strategy, but has become the DNA of the company’s operations, both globally and in Indonesia,” said Vandana during an event at The Westin Hotel Jakarta, Thursday (6/2).

As a tangible manifestation of this commitment, Unilever promotes four main pillars in its sustainability efforts: plastic management, environmental protection, improving community welfare, and mitigating climate change.

These four aspects are not only aimed at improving product quality but also ensuring a positive impact on the environment and the wider community. (EF/ZH)
