JAKARTA. Three issuers belonged to Prajogo Pangestu will not be listed for Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) Indonesia Investable Market Index (IMI) review for February 2025.

Those three issuers in question are PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN), PT Petrindo Jaya Kreasi Tbk (CUAN), and PT Petrosea Tbk (PTRO).

In its official announcement, Thursday (6/2), MSCI claimed that the decision was made based on analysis and insights from market players. “Due to potential issue of investability,” they added.

However, MSCI claimed to remain open for suggestions from market actors and investors. “MSCI will reevaluate the eligibility of these shares in the next period of index review, as well as providing further updates if needed,” said MSCI.

As of January 31, 2025, 71 shares were included in MSCI Indonesia IMI. Three constituents topping the index board are PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA), PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI), and PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI). (KR/ZH)
