JAKARTA – The management of Menara Syariah Twin Tower, PIK 2, and Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) Malaysia, held a seminar titled Islamic Wealth Management on Friday (7/2). This event aimed to provide insights into wealth management based on Islamic principles.

Three key topics were discussed in the seminar:

  1. Wealth Protection: The seminar explored strategies for risk management and Sharia-compliant financial instruments to safeguard wealth according to Islamic principles.
  2. Wealth Cleansing: This topic covered the purification of wealth in line with Islamic teachings, emphasizing the roles of zakat, waqf, and sadaqah in ensuring the sanctity of wealth and promoting social welfare.
  3. Wealth Distribution: The seminar discussed Islamic inheritance laws and the importance of wasiyyah in ensuring the fair distribution of assets, as prescribed by Sharia law.

The first session was led by Nurul Afidah Binti Mohamad Yusof, an Assistant Professor from UTAR Malaysia.

In her presentation, Nurul highlighted the importance of wealth protection, focusing on the role of Takaful as a key instrument in Sharia-based risk management. She also discussed ethical investment practices that align with Islamic principles to ensure long-term financial security. (EF/KR/ZH)
