JAKARTA – On Friday, February 7, the Indonesia Stock Exchange had a net sell of 1.38 billion shares from foreign investors' stock purchases and sales. At 4.56 billion shares, the volume of international sales was still significant, whereas the volume of purchases was 3.18 billion.

Shares of PT GOTO Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) were still being traded by foreign investors today. Although they purchased 1.22 billion shares of this main issuer of digital services, they ultimately sold 2.18 billion shares.

Second place went to PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA), whose net sell was 125.38 million shares. Although just 51.13 million shares were purchased, this e-commerce issuer's international sales volume totaled 176.51 million shares.

Mining contractor PT Darma Henwa Tbk (DEWA) earned a net sell of about 87.90 million shares after foreigners sold 100 million of its shares.

The top sell list was then closed by Bank Mandiri and BRI, two national banking issuers. A total of 188 million shares of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) and 294.32 million shares of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) were sold by foreign investors. Additionally, the IDX recorded a net sell of 35.69 million shares of BBRI and 42.62 million shares of BMRI.

However, with barely different quantities, private bank PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) and construction company PT Koka Indonesia Tbk (KOKA) were ranked first and second on the top buy list. KOKA received a net sell of 24.88 million shares, while BBCA's net sell was 24.27%.

Nonetheless, the volume of foreign purchases in BBCA was about 94 million shares, compared to KOKA's 34.76 million shares.

Additionally, after its foreign investors purchased about 27.8 million shares of this renewable energy provider, PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA), the net buy was 21.27 million shares.

Today's top buy list was concluded by a net buy of roughly 17 million shares for BRIS and WIRG shares, with WIRG at the bottom of the list. Around 18.14 million shares of the technology business PT Wir Asia Tbk (WIRG) and 24.83 million shares of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BRIS) were purchased by foreign investors. (KD)
