JAKARTA - PT Indosat Tbk (ISAT) booked net profit growth of 10% year-on-year (yoy) to IDR 4,91 trillion in 2024 from IDR 4.50 trillion recorded in the same period in 2023.

Based on Financial Report as of December 2024, published today (10/2), ISAT saw 9.09% yoy jump in revenue to IDR 55.58 trillion from IDR 51.22 trillion in 2023.

The primary contributor of 2024 revenue was cellular data segment, bringing in IDR 47.03 trillion, or up from IDR 43.74 trillion in 2023.

Then, it was followed by Multimedia, Data Communication, Internet (MIDI) segment, which also rose to IDR 7.98 trillion from IDR 6.47 trillion, whereas fixed telecommunication segment’s income was seen declining from IDR 1 trillion to IDR 864.35 billion.

The total expenses of ISAT also swelled to IDR 45.08 trillion from IDR 40.80 trillion. The rise in expenses was driven by Service Costs (+7.85% yoy), Depreciation and Amortisation (+6.41% yoy), Marketing (+18.87% yoy), as well as General and Administrative Expenses (+6.5% yoy). (LK/ZH)
