Prajogo Pangestu's two stocks rebound after a plunge

JAKARTA - Two companies owned by Prajogo Pangestu, PT Petrosea Tbk (PTRO) and PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (TPIA), experienced a significant surge in trading on Monday, February 10, 2025.
TPIA shares jumped by 7.28%, closing at IDR 7,000 after previously being held at IDR 6,350. Meanwhile, PTRO shares saw an even sharper increase of 21.18%, ending at IDR 3,490.
On today's trading session, TPIA shares were traded at 31.81 million shares, with 26,230 transactions and a total transaction value of IDR 213.03 billion. On the other hand, PTRO sold 264.77 million shares with 85,990 transactions, totaling IDR 831.39 billion.
On Friday (7/2), TPIA shares fell by 19.44%, while PTRO shares plummeted by 24.61%. The declines raised concerns among investors, but both stocks showed strong signs of recovery today.
Meanwhile, another Prajogo Pangestu stock, PT Petrindo Jaya Kreasi Tbk (CUAN), faced a sharp drop with an auto reject bottom (ARB) down by 19.87%, despite significant trading volume reaching 37.22 million shares due to large transactions. (DK/ZH)
