JCI decline is the lowest in 3 years

JAKARTA – Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) slipped 1.75% or 116.15 points to 6,531.99 yesterday (11/2), still riding the continuous downtrend since last week.
According to IDNFinancials record, yesterday, JCI was closed at the lowest point in the past three years since December 23, 2021. At that time, JCI stood at 6,555.55.
Transaction volume reported at 15.94 billion shares last Tuesday, with total transaction reaching IDR 12.68 trillion.
Foreign investors still vigorously sell shares, thus registering net sell worth IDR 469.49 billion. It has brought accumulated net sell to IDR 8.91 trillion since the beginning of the year.
PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) sat at first sport of Top Leaders, with price increase of 1.01% or 6.15 points. Meanwhile, PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) topped Laggards board with 9.40% decline in shares, or down 24.09 points.
Nearly all sectoral indices were corrected last Tuesday. However, tech sector became the only one remaining at the green zone, with 0.53% increase. (KR/ZH)
