Citadel Group enters IKN, how much does it invest?

JAKARTA - PT Citadel Group Indonesia, a company under Malaysia’s Citadel Group, is set to invest in the new capital city (IKN) this year. The confirmation of additional investments was delivered by Basuki Hadimuljono, Head of the IKN Authority, following a working meeting with the Commission II of the House of Representatives (DPR) yesterday (12/2).
Basuki mentioned that the additional investment in IKN will reach IDR 6.49 trillion in 2025, coming from both private entities and state-owned enterprises (BUMN). However, the groundbreaking schedule for these investors in IKN has not yet been disclosed in detail.
The investors set to enter IKN this year include:
- PT Citadel Group Indonesia, with a capital investment of IDR 3.97 trillion to develop an exclusive residential complex of townhouses and a mixed-use area on 2.17 hectares (Ha) of land in KIPP 1A;
- PT Puri Persada Lampung, with an investment of IDR 1.4 trillion to build an office building on 3 Ha of land in KIPP 1A;
- PT Makmur Berkah Hotel, with an investment of IDR 950 billion to construct an international-standard hotel on 2.04 Ha of land in KIPP 1A;
- Universitas Negeri Surabaya, with an investment of IDR 150 billion to establish a campus for its flagship Doctoral Study Programme (PDSU) on 1.19 Ha of land in KIPP 1B; and
- PT Vitka Delifood, with an investment of IDR 20 billion to build restaurant facilities and food and beverage (F&B) tenants, including Rumah Makan Padang Sederhana and Momoo Juice, on 0.35 Ha of land in KIPP 1A.
