JAKARTA - On Tuesday, February 11, PT Shima Global Kapital, which held about 22% of PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk (ENRG) shares, was featured in the list of changes in share ownership above 5% of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The company sold 222.41 million shares of the oil and gas exploration issuer.

Following the sale of shares through PT OCBC Sekuritas Indonesia and PT KB Valbury Sekuritas, Shima Global currently owns around 20.99% of the shares of companies involved in oil and gas exploration and trade.

Additionally, 46 million shares of media issuer PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN) were sold by PT Global Mediacom Tbk. Following the completion of the deal through PT MNC Sekuritas, its stake percentage also decreased marginally to 39.54%.

After that, 1.40 million shares of PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA) were sold by PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala, leaving 52.38% of the shares.

This time, shares seemed to be sold by foreign investors as well. Through PT BCA Sekuritas, Prinsep Management Limited released 9.5 million shares of PT FAP Agri Tbk (FAPA), a company that produces palm oil. Approximately 73.11% of the shares are still held by this controller.

Then, through PT Bank HSBC Indonesia, HSBC-Fund SVS A/C Chengdong Investment Corp-Self sold 785,200 shares of PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI).

However, through PT Mirae Asset Sekuritas Indonesia, PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk expanded its stake in PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA) by 56.07 million shares. Currently, this investor holds 62.16% of the mass media issuer's shares.

Foreign investors then took their turn to purchase shares. With a total stake of 18.12%, CGS International Securities Singapore Pte Ltd purchased 11 million shares of PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI). Subsequently, DBS Bank Ltd S/A Pemberton Asian Opportunities Fund acquired 1.14 million shares, getting a total of 9.41% of the stakes of PT Sarimelati Kencana Tbk (PZZA).

BIPI shares are involved in energy infrastructure, whilst PZZA shares are involved in the Indonesian Pizza Hut restaurant franchise.

Individual TAPG investor T. Permadi Rachmat has continued to accumulate PT Triputra Agro Persada Tbk (TAPG) shares, this time purchasing 1.82 million shares via PT Bahana Sekuritas. He currently owns 5.21% of the stock.

Finally, Sabana Prawira Widjaja continued to buy PT Ultrajaya Milk Industry & Trading Company Tbk (ULTJ) shares. He purchased 350,000 ULTJ shares using two securities. This controller currently holds 49.82% of the company's stock. (KD)
