JAKARTA - PT Sentra Investa Maksima (SIM), a shareholder of PT Lavender Bina Cendikia Tbk (BMBL), sold 6 million of its shares in a transaction last week (6/2).

Galih Pandekar, President Director of BMBL, stated that SIM’s stake decreased to 132.40 million shares from the previous 138.40 million shares. In percentage terms, SIM’s ownership dropped 0.58% from 13.44% to 12.85%.

“The transaction was made to improve liquidity,” Galih explained in a statement on Thursday (13/2).

With a selling price of Rp15 per share, the total value of the divested shares reached Rp90 million.

According to the June 2024 Financial Report, the company’s cash and cash equivalents stood at Rp190.42 million, down from Rp403.18 million in December 2023. Meanwhile, long-term loans due within a year amounted to Rp179 million.

Over the past year, BMBL’s share price has fallen 15%, from Rp20 to Rp17 per share.

As of January 2025, BMBL had a total of 1.03 billion shares, with a shareholding structure of 9.34% controlling shareholders and 90.66% non-controlling shareholders.

The number of free float shares was 402.06 million, representing 39.03%. The company had 3,909 shareholders, with Galih Pandekar as the ultimate beneficiary. (LK/ZH)
