FASW recorded IDR 1.1 trillion loss in 2024

JAKARTA – PT Fajar Surya Wisesa Tbk (FASW) recorded a loss of IDR 1.1 trillion in 2024, marking a significant increase of 76.59% year-on-year (yoy) compared to a loss of IDR 625.86 billion in the previous year.
One of the key factors behind this loss was a decline in revenue for 2024, which amounted to IDR 7.69 trillion, down by 0.39% yoy from IDR 7.72 trillion in 2023.
In addition, losses on foreign exchange contributed to the negative performance, amounting to IDR 62.63 billion, a stark contrast to the IDR 39.96 billion gain recorded in the previous year.
From financial position perspective, FASW's liabilities rose 14.18% yoy to IDR 9.34 trillion in 2024, compared to IDR 8.18 trillion in 2023. Conversely, the company's total equity decreased by 23.85% yoy to IDR 3.32 trillion from IDR 4.36 trillion in 2023.
Despite these challenges, FASW's total assets saw a slight increase to IDR 12.66 trillion in 2024, up from IDR 12.54 trillion in the previous year. (DK/ZH)
