JAKARTA – On Friday, February 14, foreign investor transactions on the Indonesia Stock Exchange continue to demonstrate the predominance of stock sale activities.

2.91 billion shares were purchased in total by foreign investors, often known as foreign buys. Foreign investors had a net sell of 320.66 million shares, with a sales volume (foreign sell) of 3.23 billion shares.

With a net sell of 207.93 million shares, national bank PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) topped the list of top sellers. This issuer's international buy volume was 135.24 million shares, while its sell volume was 343.18 million shares.

Additionally, after 145.96 million of its shares were released by foreigners, PT Bukalapak.com, an e-commerce issuer, followed with a net sell of nearly 80 million shares. With a sales volume of 114.40 million shares, the mining parent issuer, PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), had a net sell of 73.34 million shares.

Foreign shareholders subsequently sold about 90 million shares of media issuer PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA) for a net sell of 55.03 million shares. Ultimately, with a net sell of 41.78 million shares, they sold 206.66 million shares of PT MNC Land Tbk and purchased 164.88 million.

Meanwhile, with a net buy of 145.24 million shares, mining contractor PT Darma Henwa Tbk (DEWA) secured the top spot on the buy list. Foreign investors bought 222.80 million DEWA shares and sold 77.55 million.

After foreigners purchased 157.43 million of BUMI's shares, PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS), a subsidiary of BUMI, came in second with a net buy of 62.33 million shares. Foreigners purchased 133.46 million shares of the national telecoms operator PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM), which resulted in an instant net purchase of 58.36 million shares.

Foreign investors purchased 52.85 million shares of PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) with a net buy of 28.35 million shares, but they also sold 24.49 million shares. The foreign transaction list for PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) concluded today with a net buy of 21.35 million shares.
