BAFI readies IDR 786.43 billion to settle maturing bonds

JAKARTA – PT Bussan Auto Finance (BAFI) is preparing IDR 786.43 billion to settle the principal and interest of its Shelf-Registration Bonds I Phase V of 2022. These bonds are set to mature on March 17, 2025.
In a disclosure released on Monday (17/2), Sigit Sembodo, Director of BAFI, stated that the company has set aside funds to pay the principal and interest on the Shelf-Registration Bonds I Phase V 2022. The principal amount of the bonds is IDR 775 billion, while the interest is IDR 11.43 billion.
BAFI's management will deposit the funds to PT Kustodian Efek Indonesia (KSEI), the payment agent, on March 14, 2025.
The bonds were issued on March 8, 2022, with a fixed interest rate of 5.9% per year, which is paid quarterly. As of June 2024, BAFI's total current assets amounted to IDR 14 trillion, with cash and cash equivalents reaching IDR 402.69 billion. (LK/ZH)
