JAKARTA – PT Segar Kumala Indonesia Tbk (BUAH) has expanded its distribution network by opening two new cold storages in Eastern Indonesia, specifically in Ternate, North Maluku, and Jayapura, Papua.

"After opening new branches in Pekanbaru and Samarinda in 2024, we are now focusing on expanding our reach in Eastern Indonesia, given the growing market demand for our products each year," said Syanne, Corporate Secretary of BUAH, in an official statement on Monday (17/2).

With the opening of these two new branches, BUAH's total cold storage capacity has increased to 500 tons, with 200 tons in Ternate and 300 tons in Jayapura. Overall, BUAH's cold storage capacity will reach 8,305 tons by 2025.

"The opening of these branches marks an important momentum to maintain the company's positive performance as we head into 2025," she added.

According to data from IDNFinancials.com, BUAH's total assets by the third quarter of 2024 reached Rp359 billion, up 16.18% from Rp309 billion recorded at the end of December 2023.

However, the company's total cash and cash equivalents shrank by 28.29% year-on-year to Rp109 billion from Rp152 billion as of September 2023. (DK/ZH)
