MSIN booked IDR 3.47 trillion revenue in 2024, what drives the growth?

JAKARTA – PT MNC Digital Entertainment Tbk (MSIN), a subsidiary of PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN), announced an 18% year-on-year (yoy) revenue increase in 2024, reaching IDR 3.47 trillion, although these results have yet to undergo an audit.
According to the unaudited 2024 Financial Report, MSIN also reported that its EBITDA rose by 22% yoy to IDR 760 billion.
This achievement was driven by increased content production and the development of MSIN’s Intellectual Property (IP), covering a wide range of genres such as drama, infotainment, reality shows, and animation.
Additionally, the combined performance of Over The Top (OTT) platforms marked a significant milestone in 2024. The Superapps RCTI+ (AVOD) and Vision+ (SVOD) garnered over 100 million monthly active users and 2.85 million paid subscribers.
The Superapps RCTI+ and Vision+ also generated revenues of IDR 1.48 trillion in 2024, up by 11% yoy, with EBITDA reaching IDR 329 billion, a 6% yoy increase.
"Both contributed 43% to MSIN’s total financial performance this year," said Valencia Tanoesoedibjo, Director of MSIN, in a press release at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on Tuesday (18/2).
Valencia expressed her satisfaction with the company's performance. "We are pleased with the strong position of our OTT platforms, especially amid the rapid growth of the OTT industry in Indonesia," she said.
Looking ahead to 2025, MSIN is optimistic about achieving new milestones and driving more significant progress. "We are confident that our latest initiatives will deliver exceptional results and contribute to the company’s continued success," she added. (DK/ZH)
