Minerva Digital Platform earns PTRO recognition from Global Lighthouse

JAKARTA – The successful implementation of the Minerva Digital Platform by PT Petrosea Tbk (PTRO) since 2018 has made the company the only mining company from Indonesia to be included in the Global Lighthouse Network.
According to its official website, the Global Lighthouse Network is part of the World Economic Forum initiative that recognises and awards companies with outstanding digitalisation strategies and Industry 4.0 technologies.
Minerva, a cutting-edge digital technology solution developed by Petrosea as part of the company's digitalisation strategy, maximises the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), big data, and advanced analytics to optimise real-time planning, monitoring, and management of mining operations.
"We continue to strive to lead in the development and implementation of technology in the mining and EPC sectors through Minerva," said Michael, President Director of PTRO, in an official statement on Tuesday (18/2).
Since becoming the first engineering and construction company to list on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 1990, PTRO is now under the control of PT Kreasi Jasa Persada, a subsidiary of PT Petrindo Jaya Kreasi Tbk (CUAN), making it one of the companies owned by Prajogo Pangestu.
Since the 1:10 stock split earlier in January, PTRO has shown positive share movement, growing 40.26% year-to-date (ytd) to IDR 3,850 per share as of 2.15 PM WIB today (18/2). (EF/ZH)
