Bakrie & Brothers sell half a billion VKTR shares

JAKARTA - The sale of 500 million shares of PT VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas Tbk (VKTR) by PT Bakrie & Brothers through PT Ciptadana Sekuritas Asia was noted in the list of share ownership changes exceeding 5% of the Indonesia Stock Exchange on Monday, February 17.
This investor currently owns only about 29.26% of the electric vehicle manufacturer's shares, down from 30.41% previously.
Then, through PT Yuanta Sekuritas Indonesia, PT Goldfive Investment Capital sold 6.5 million shares of PT Bintang Samudera Mandiri Lines Tbk (BSML), a shipping and logistics issuer. Additionally, the controlling share decreased from 45.62% to 45.27%.
Following that, shares in two issuers were sold simultaneously by foreign investor CGS International Securities Singapore Pte Ltd: 126,500 shares of PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) and 1.29 million shares of gold miner PT Wilton Makmur Indonesia Tbk (SQMI).
PT CGS International Sekuritas Indonesia handled both transactions, and this investor held about 18% of the remaining shares in the two issuers.
Another foreign investor, OCBC Sec Pte Ltd S/A Hudson River Group Pte Ltd, then sold 600,000 shares of PT Nusa Konstruksi Enjiniring Tbk (DGIK), leaving 9.81% of the company's shares.
In contrast, PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala, the controlling shareholder of PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA), boosted its stake in the financial services company by 3.80 million shares. With the help of PT Sinarmas Sekuritas, they completed this transaction.
Then, through PT Mandiri Sekuritas, Ram Jethmal Punjabi added 2.89 million shares of the film production company PT Tripar Multivision Plus Tbk (RAAM), giving him a 70.46% share percentage.
Additionally, PT Nippon Indosari Corpindo Tbk (ROTI), a bread manufacturer, bought back 2.06 million shares. Approximately 508 million shares, or 8.22% of ROTI shares, are now held by this issuer.
The market hints were closed by updates from MNC Group. PT MNC Asia Holding Tbk, the parent business, increased its stake in PT Global Mediacom Tbk (BMTR) by 915 thousand shares. 1.5 million shares of PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN) were then acquired by Global Mediacom. Shares of MNCN and BMTR are both involved in the media industry. Additionally, PT MNC Sekuritas was chosen to handle both transactions. (KD)
