JAKARTA – PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BBNI) and APP Group formalised a supply chain financing (SCF) partnership on Tuesday (18/2).

According to BNI's Director of Enterprise and Commercial Banking, I Made Sukajaya, this facility will ease access to working capital financing for entities involved in APP Group’s supply chain, ensuring smoother production and distribution processes.

In this facility, BNI, as a pioneer in SCF, will offer various flexible financing schemes, including invoice financing for corporate partners within a supply chain as sellers or suppliers, enabling sellers’ trade receivables to be paid more quickly.

Additionally, Made explained that the cooperation between BBNI and APP Group is not only aimed at enhancing business efficiency but also at creating a broader positive impact.

“We see this as an effort to support a more sustainable economic recovery while maintaining prudent risk management principles,” said Made.

On the other hand, APP Group’s Director, Arman Dwiartono, expressed that the signing of this agreement is expected to boost business productivity and offer growth opportunities for APP Group’s partners.

APP Group, or Asia Pulp and Paper, is a business group engaged in pulp and paper manufacturing industry, and still a part of Sinarmas conglomeration. (DH/ZH)
