Bakrie family pockets IDR 50 billion from VKTR share divestment

JAKARTA – PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk (BNBR) has secured IDR 50 billion from divesting its shares in PT VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas Tbk (VKTR). The divestment by the Bakrie Group’s entity took place on Wednesday (17/2).
BNBR offloaded 500 million VKTR shares at a sale price of IDR 100 per share.
Indah Permatasari Saugi, VP of Corporate Secretary and Corporate Legal at VKTR, stated that BNBR’s ownership in VKTR has now decreased to 12.80 billion shares, equivalent to 29.26%. Previously, BNBR held 13.30 billion shares or 30.14% of VKTR.
As of January 2025, VKTR’s total shares amounted to 43.75 billion, with a free float portion of 48.95%.
The ultimate beneficiaries of VKTR’s shareholding are Aburizal Bakrie, Nirwan Dermawan Bakrie, and Indra Usmansjah Bakrie, who are also the ultimate beneficiaries of BNBR shares. (LK/KR/ZH)
