JAKARTA – PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI) reported an 83% year-on-year (yoy) increase in transactions of PT Blue Bird Tbk (BIRD) on its BNIdirect platform as of December 2024.

According to its official site, BNIdirect is BNI’s B2B service for cash management. Through the BNIdirect partnership with Blue Bird, BNI provides services such as one-gate payment API (OGP), cash pooling, in-house transfers, and interbank payments.

This service also simplifies Bluebird's ability to monitor all transactions and manage funds from each taxi pool more transparently. Adrianto Djokosoetono, President Director of Bluebird, emphasised the importance of reliable cash management amid the growing trend towards cashless transactions.

“This creates better visibility into Bluebird’s financial condition, enabling more accurate business decisions,” said Hussein Paolo Kartadjoemena, Director of Digital and Integrated Transaction Banking at BNI, in a statement in Jakarta on Thursday (20/2).

As an appreciation for Bluebird’s trust in BNI’s services, the company named Bluebird as The Most Innovative Digital Transaction at the BNIdirect Appreciation Night 2024.

Paolo stated that BNI is committed to continuing to support digitalisation across various sectors in Indonesia, including the transport sector.
