New investors enter three issuers

JAKARTA - The list of changes in share ownership exceeding 5% of the Indonesia Stock Exchange, on Tuesday, February 18, indicated the entry of three new significant investors in three distinct issuers.
NV III Holdings Limited emerged as the first after acquiring 1.90 billion shares of PT Bukit Uluwatu Villa Tbk (BUVA) via PT Shinhan Sekuritas Indonesia. This new investor quickly secured control of 9.26% of the shares of the property developer issuer.
Following this, the mass media holding entity PT Visi Media Asia Tbk (VIVA) welcomed PT Surya Ganesa Amani as a new holder of 6% of its shares. This investor purchased 989.95 million shares of VIVA through PT Ciptadana Sekuritas Asia.
The final investor is Haruna Binoswara Jaya, a new private investor in PT Berdikari Pondasi Perkasa Tbk (BDKR). Through PT KB Valbury Securities, the investor currently owns 236.40 million shares or 5% of the shares of this foundation and construction company.
Moreover, the acquisition of 140 million shares of e-commerce company PT Bukalapak. com Tbk (BUKA) was executed by PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk. The investor's share ownership rose to 10.49%. PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk subsequently purchased 114.88 million shares of media company PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA), bringing its total ownership to 62.31%.
Conversely, the most significant share decrease this time was undertaken by PT Sejahtera Raya Perkasa by offloading 23 million shares of PT Indomobil Sukses Internasional Tbk (IMAS) through PT Buana Capital Securities. Its shareholding decreased slightly from 5.6% to 5.02%.
Other share transactions in the market hint during this period were conducted by foreign investors. A cumulative total of 6.8 million shares of gold mining company PT Wilton Makmur Indonesia Tbk (SQMI) were divested by foreign investor CGS International Securities Singapore Pte Ltd, leaving 18. 48% of shares remaining, followed by the sale of 673 thousand onshore and offshore drilling company PT Apexindo Pratama Duta Tbk (APEX) by HSBC Bank Plc, with 5.63% shares still outstanding.
MB Investment Management Pte Ltd subsequently sold 100 thousand shares of PT ITSEC Asia Tbk (CYBR). Its holdings in this cybersecurity solutions firm now amount to 27.21%. Finally, Matrix Company Limited sold 46,500 shares of industrial gas company PT Samator Indo Gas Tbk (AGII), leaving a remaining stake of 32.45%. (KD)
