JCI gains 0.22% strides after two days of correction

JAKARTA. Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) slightly strengthened by 0.22%, or 13.96 points, to 6,803 during Friday’s (21/2) trading session, after experiencing a correction for the previous two days.
On Wednesday (19/2), JCI corrected by 1.14% to 6,794.87. The decline continued on Thursday (20/2) by 0.10% to 6,788.04.
The total stock volume traded on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) today reached 147.35 million lots, with 136.66 million lots traded in the regular market, 10.70 million lots in the negotiated market, and 1.29 thousand lots in the cash market.
PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) recorded the largest trading volume, reaching 3.03 billion shares. It was followed by PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) and PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), with trading volumes of 604.76 million shares and 504.73 million shares, respectively.
The total value of stock transactions today amounted to IDR 10.05 trillion, conducted through 1.09 million transactions. The regular market accounted for IDR 8.77 trillion in transactions, the negotiated market IDR 1.28 trillion, and the cash market IDR 8.04 million. (KR/ZH)
