Indomobil and Mobitech to distribute Changan in Indonesia

JAKARTA – PT Indomobil Sukses Internasional Tbk (IMAS), through its subsidiary, PT IMG Sejahtera Langgeng (IMGSL), has officially become the distributor of Changan vehicles in Indonesia.
This partnership was formalized in a distribution agreement signed between IMGSL and Mobitech Co., Ltd. on Friday (21/2).
Jusak Kertowidjojo, President Director of IMAS, stated that IMGSL will handle distribution, after-sales service, as well as the provision of spare parts and accessories for the Changan brand. “This partnership is expected to expand our vehicle portfolio and enhance our competitiveness in the Indonesian automotive market,” he said in an official statement.
IMGSL, which is 99.99% owned by IMAS, will be fully responsible for marketing Changan vehicles in Indonesia. Indomobil sees this move as a strategy to boost business performance by offering more brand options to consumers.
Changan, a Chinese automotive manufacturer known for its innovations in both electric and conventional fuel vehicles, is expected to provide more variety for the domestic market in Indonesia.
Indomobil continues to expand its distribution network and strategic partnerships to strengthen its position in the automotive industry. “We are optimistic that this collaboration will provide added value for the company and consumers,” Jusak added. (KR/ZH)
