JAKARTA – Shares of PT Ginting Jaya Energi Tbk (WOWS) have once again caught the market’s attention following a significant increase in ownership by one of its shareholders, Robby Adijaya.

On January 24, 2025, Robby purchased 47,107,700 WOWS shares. At a price of IDR 50 per share, the transaction amounted to IDR 2.4 billion.

“The purpose of this transaction is for investment, with direct ownership of the shares,” said Jimmy Hidayat, President Director of WOWS, in a disclosure to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), quoted on Monday (24/2).

With this latest acquisition, Robby Adijaya's shareholding in WOWS increased to 214,877,800 shares, representing 8.68% of the company’s total outstanding shares. Previously, he held 167,770,100 shares, equivalent to 6.78%. (EF/KR/ZH)
