JAKARTA - On Friday, February 21, PT Sentosa Bersama Mitra, a new investor in PT Minna Padi Investama Sekuritas Tbk (PADI), was listed among the changes in share ownership exceeding 5% of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This investor purchased 650 million PADI shares, or 5.75% of the total number of shares. PADI shares operate as a securities firm.

Then, through PT Sucor Sekuritas, Siauw Yunus Subandi acquired 5 million shares in PT Graha Andrasentra Propertindo Tbk (JGLE), the operator of the Jungle Series amusement park. This investor currently owns 1.20 billion shares, or 5.34%.

Then, through PT Samuel Sekuritas Indonesia, the chemical business PT Lautan Luas Tbk (LTLS) purchased 2.55 million of its shares. With around 95.31 million shares in possession, the issuer's share portion increased to 6.11%.

Then, PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala added 1.45 million shares to its stake in PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA), a provider of financial services. Thereafter, Ram Jethmal Punjabi bought 479,400 shares in PT Tripar Multivision Plus Tbk (RAAM), a production company. These two investors possess a majority stake in the companies. Currently, Ram Jethmal owns 70.48% of RAAM, and Sinar Mas Cakrawala owns 52.29% of SMMA.

However, by releasing 60 million shares of PT Paramita Bangun Sarana Tbk (PBSA), PT Sigma Mutiara executed the largest divestment. The issuer, which also goes by PBS, operates in the construction industry. Through PT Supra Sekuritas Indonesia, the investor sold shares, keeping 37.56% of the total.

Foreign investors made the subsequent share sales. First, 15 million shares of PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) were sold by HSBC-Fund SVS A/C Chengdong Investment Corp-Self through PT Bank HSBC Indonesia, leaving 10.4% of the shares.

Then, through PT OCBC Sekuritas Indonesia, INV Management Pte Ltd sold one million shares of PT ITSEC Asia Tbk (CYBR). Approximately 45.66% of the information security solutions provider's shares are currently owned by this controlling investor.

Thereafter, HSBC Bank Plc sold 400 thousand shares of PT Apexindo Pratama Duta Tbk (APEX), a company that provides onshore and offshore drilling services for oil and gas. CGS International Securities Singapore Pte Ltd then sold 28,500 shares of PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI), a company that provides energy infrastructure.

The remaining BIPI shares in CGS International are approximately 18.12%, whereas the remaining APEX shares in HSBC Bank are 5.57%. (KD)
