JAKARTA – Prajogo Pangestu, the controller of the Barito Group, has increased his ownership in PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) by accumulating 1.5 million shares on February 25, 2025.

The purchase was made at a price of IDR 6,272 per share, with Prajogo spending approximately IDR 9.4 billion to complete the transaction.

Following the transaction, Prajogo Pangestu’s total shareholding in BREN rose from around 130.88 million to 132.38 million shares, equivalent to 0.09896% of the company's shares.

Merly, Corporate Secretary of BREN, confirmed in a disclosure on Wednesday (26/2) that this transaction is part of Prajogo Pangestu’s personal investment strategy, with direct ownership. (EF/KR/ZH)
