NISP to discuss dividends and buyback plans at 2025 AGMS

JAKARTA – PT Bank OCBC NISP Tbk (NISP) is set to discuss the distribution of dividends and a share buyback plan at its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) scheduled for 20 March 2025 at OCBC Tower, Jakarta.
The management of NISP has proposed the allocation of net profit from the 2024 fiscal year for dividend distribution to shareholders, along with funds for reserves and retained earnings.
As reported by IDNFinancials.com, for the 2023 fiscal year, NISP allocated 40.4% of its net profit as dividends, equivalent to IDR 1.65 trillion, following a 23% year-on-year (yoy) increase in net profit.
Meanwhile, according to data from IDNFinancials.com, OCBC reported a yoy net profit increase of 18.96% as of December 2024, rising from IDR 4.09 trillion to IDR 4.86 trillion.
This growth was supported by net interest income (NII), which grew 11.43% yoy from IDR 9.91 trillion to IDR 11.04 trillion.
“In addition, NISP will also discuss a share buyback plan as part of its capital management strategy,” the management stated in the BEI disclosure on Wednesday (26/2).
The AGMS will also cover changes to the board of commissioners and directors, as well as the determination of management remuneration. (DK/ZH)
