Ram Punjabi increases stake in RAAM, what's happening?

JAKARTA – Ram Jethmal Punjabi has increased his shareholding in PT Tripar Multivision Plus Tbk (RAAM) through a series of transactions over the past two weeks. The President Commissioner (Komut) of RAAM purchased 1.25 million shares in nine transactions at varying prices between IDR 338 and IDR 356 per share.
Sugiri, Corporate Secretary of RAAM, stated that Ram Jethmal Punjabi’s stake has risen from 70.48% to 70.5% of all recorded shares. "The purpose of the transactions is for investment," he said in a disclosure on Friday (28/2).
Previously, the President Commissioner aggressively acquired 571,500 shares at prices ranging from IDR 356 to IDR 360 per share and 8.82 million shares at prices between IDR 236 and IDR 390 throughout the previous week (11-20/2).
Raam Punjabi is the ultimate beneficial owner of RAAM shares. As of January 2025, RAAM had 4,349 shareholders, with a free float of 19.83% of its 6.81 billion recorded shares. (LK/ZH)
