JAKARTA – The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) is monitoring two issuers due to their unusual stock price increases (unusual market activity/UMA) last week (28/2). The two issuers are PT Homeco Victoria Makmur Tbk (LIVE) and PT Indal Alumunium Industry Tbk (INAI).

In a disclosure on Monday (3/3), Yulianto Aji Sadono, Head of Transaction Supervision Division at IDX, stated that the stock prices of LIVE and INAI have increased unusually. “The UMA announcement does not necessarily indicate a violation of capital market regulations,” he said.

In response, IDX reminds investors to consider several factors, such as the issuers' responses to the stock exchange's requests for clarification, the performance of the issuers and their disclosures, and reviewing the issuers' corporate action plans if these plans have not yet received approval from the General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS).

As of the early session on Monday (3/3), INAI's stock price had corrected by 10.98%, or IDR 22, down to IDR 180 per share. Last week, its shares surged by 100%, or IDR 91, and over the past month, the stock price rose by 97.83%, or IDR 90 per share.

Meanwhile, LIVE shares were down by 24.85%, or IDR 82, as of 10.15 AM WIB on Wednesday (3/3). Over the past week, its price increased by 25.25%, or IDR 50 per share, while over the past month, its shares grew by 15.89%, or IDR 34 per share. (LK/ZH)
