JAKARTA - Foreign investor Levoca Enterprise Ltd. sold one billion shares of PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk (BNBR), a manufacturing and infrastructure company, according to the list of share ownership changes exceeding 5% of the Indonesia Stock Exchange on Thursday, February 27.

Through PT Ciptadana Sekuritas Asia, this investor sold shares, leaving it with 25.36% of the issuer's shares.

Following that, Manoj Dhamoo Punjabi, an individual investor, sold 70 million shares of PT MD Pictures Tbk (FILM), reducing the number of shares from 7.21% to 6.5%. He used PT Samuel Sekuritas Indonesia to do this transaction.

Through PT Victoria Sekuritas Indonesia, Agatha Nindya, another private investor, sold 52.63 million shares of PT Techno9 Indonesia Tbk (NINE), an information technology business. Currently, she owns about 5.76% of the issuer's stock.

Next, 2.35 million shares of PT Data Sinergitama Jaya Tbk (ELIT), another IT company, were sold by PT Delemont Global Venture. Following the completion of the sale through PT Trust Sekuritas, its shares had a modest decline, falling to 12.43%.

Two significant investors seemed to be purchasing and disposing of shares from palm oil manufacturer PT Sawit Sumbermas Sarana Tbk (SSMS). PT Putra Borneo Agro Lestari boosted its investment by 72.55 million through two securities, while PT Citra Borneo Indah decreased its shares by 46.97 million through PT Maybank Sekuritas Indonesia. Both investors' portions of the shares were in the range of 8%.

Individual investors, however, dominated the share purchase activity. John Herry Teja used two securities to boost his holdings in PT Menn Teknologi Indonesia Tbk (MENN) by 30.71 million shares. He currently owns around 8% of the company's shares in this provider of fleet management solutions.

Then, through PT Mandiri Sekuritas, Ram Jethmal Punjabi purchased one million shares, resulting in 70.5% of the production company PT Tripar Multivision Plus Tbk (RAAM). Manoj Pitamber Nanwani also acquired 986,500 shares of PT Wintermar Offshore Marine Tbk (WINS), an issuer of transportation services servicing the oil and gas industry, for a 5.63% stake.

Lastly, PT Bogamulia Nagadi acquired 1.23 million shares in PT Tempo Scan Pacific Tbk (TSPC), a pharmaceutical issuer. This controlling stake grew to 89.25% through PT OCBC Sekuritas Indonesia. (KD)
