JAKARTA – PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) has proposed a dividend distribution of IDR 308 per share, which will be discussed at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) in May 2025.

Previously, ASII had also distributed an interim dividend of IDR 98 per share in October 2024. This brings the total dividend for 2024 to IDR 406 per share, lower than the IDR 519 per share distributed in 2023.

Djony Bunarto Tjondro, President Director of ASII, stated that the company achieved solid net profit in 2024, supported by its diversified business portfolio, despite weakened consumer sentiment in Indonesia.

“With a strong balance sheet, ASII is in a robust position to navigate short-term uncertainties and invest in core businesses and new opportunities to drive medium- and long-term growth,” Djony said in an official statement on Saturday (1/3).

In its 2024 financial report, ASII posted a net revenue of IDR 330.9 trillion, a 5% year-on-year (yoy) increase from the previous year.

ASII’s net profit was recorded at IDR 34.05 trillion in 2024, a 0.63% yoy increase from IDR 33.83 trillion in 2023.

Meanwhile, ASII’s total net cash rose 15.08% yoy to IDR 48.4 trillion by the end of 2024. “This increase reflects strong operating cash flow, despite lower capital expenditure, investments, and dividend payments,” Djony said. (DK/KR/ZH)
