JAKARTA – Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) fell by 2.14%, or 139.26 points, to 6,380.40 on Tuesday's trading (4/3), after a previous gain of 3.97% on Monday (3/3).

Despite JCI remaining in the red throughout today’s session, foreign investor buying activity strengthened. This is evident from the net foreign buy amounting to IDR 593.64 billion across all markets today.

It’s worth noting that foreign investor selling pressure has been strong over the past week. However, the sell-off began to ease on Monday, with a net foreign sell of only IDR 137.91 billion.

Throughout today’s trading, the total stock volume reached 215.43 million lots. The total transaction value across all markets was IDR 13.85 trillion, with a trading frequency of 1.18 million transactions.

PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) recorded the largest trading volume, with a total of 2.99 billion shares traded. Meanwhile, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) had the highest trading frequency, with 52,070 transactions. (KR/ZH)
