JAKARTA - PT Indo Kordsa Tbk (BRAM) stopped all production activities due to flooding that hit its production facility in Citeureup, Bogor, on Tuesday (4/3) yesterday.

BRAM Corporate Secretary, Reyva Fitri, stated that this condition was a force majeure, and the company is still assessing the impact and recovery steps. "As a result of this incident, all of the Company's production activities have been temporarily stopped," said Fitri, in a stock exchange filing.

Fitri added that the flood occurred in the BRAM factory area located on Jl. Pahlawan, Karang Asem Timur Village, Citeureup, Bogor. The company has evacuated all employees safely without casualties. The Emergency Response Team (RTD) has also been mobilised.

"The company continues to monitor the situation and will provide updates if there are material developments," Fitri added.

According to IDNFinancials.com data, BRAM is a textile manufacturing company that produces tyre raw materials, such as tyre fabric, nylon thread, and polyester thread. In 2023, the company booked revenue of IDR 3.99 trillion. (KR/LM)
