WIFI joins hands with DOOH, eyeing 40 million internet customers

JAKARTA – PT Solusi Sinergi Digital Tbk (WIFI) has entered into a partnership with PT Era Media Sejahtera Tbk (DOOH) to offer affordable internet services to Indonesians, aiming to reach 40 million customers nationwide.
Through this project, WIFI offers affordable internet services priced at IDR 100,000 per month for unlimited 100 Mbps speeds.
Various internet service providers and local contractors are also involved in this project to ensure wider and more effective service distribution.
In this collaboration, DOOH will optimise artificial intelligence (AI)-based marketing to target 40 million customers, leveraging the digital advertising ecosystem, including Key Opinion Leaders (KOL), Programmatic Advertising, and various social media platforms and interactive events.
“AI, as a new breakthrough in Indonesian advertising, will be integrated into the entire DOOH ecosystem to meet the market penetration challenges targeted by WIFI,” it said in a written statement on Monday (3/3).
Meanwhile, WIFI President Director Yune Marketatmo emphasised that this partnership is a step forward in Indonesia’s digital transformation.
“Together with DOOH, we are committed to realising 40 million customers through AI-based innovation and integrated marketing strategies,” said Yune.
However, at the close of trading today (4/3), WIFI’s share price fell 17.53% to IDR 2,070 from IDR 2,510 per share. Meanwhile, DOOH’s share price also dropped 5.47% to IDR 121 from IDR 128 per share. (DK/ZH)
