JAKARTA – Prajogo Pangestu has once again purchased 1.3 million shares of PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) at an average price of IDR 6,077 per share on March 4, 2025. The total value of this latest transaction reached IDR 7.9 billion.

This is not the first time Prajogo has increased his shareholding in BREN this year. Previously, he acquired 1.5 million BREN shares on February 25, 2025 at IDR 6,272 per share, spending around IDR 9.4 billion for the transaction.

These accumulation activities occurred amid a downward trend in BREN's share price, which has fluctuated between IDR 6,100–IDR 6,350 per share since February 11 until now (5/3).

According to Merly, BREN's Director and Corporate Secretary, after this latest transaction, Prajogo now directly holds 133,689,700 BREN shares, representing 0.09993% of the company’s voting rights.

“The purpose of the transaction is for personal investment,” she stated in an official release on Wednesday (5/3).

On Tuesday (4/3), BREN shares fell by 5.08% to IDR 6,075 per share. However, during the trading session on Wednesday (5/3) at 10.24 AM WIB, BREN shares began to recover with a 2.47% rise to IDR 6,225 per share. (EF/ZH)
